Pipeline Inspection Cable

Pipeline Inspection Cable

Winchester is a leading manufacturer of pipeline inspection and crawler robotic cables for subterranean sewer and pipeline applications. We have designed and built cables for leading name brand equipment m

anufacturers worldwide, for use in the sewer “Pumper Cleaner”, pipe inspection, “No-dig” pipe repair industry.

Pushrod cable and Crawler Cables, with mini coax video, twisted pair, discrete wire or fiber-optic. We offer rugged constructions incorporating GRP-Glass reinforced epoxy rods, Kevlar or Vectran strength layers and tried and proven low friction jacket materials of Propylene copolymer, HDPE, Hytrel, Polyurethane and Nylons – all engineered and manufactured to Winchester’s specific formulations and design features.

Push-rod Cables

Central Strength Member: Winchester’s Epoxy reinforced fiberglass rods are of the highest quality with great linear stiffness and long lasting fatigue life. Fiber glass rod sizes range from 0.100 in (2.5mm) to 0.250 (6.3mm) core sizes.

Video Components: We offer a variety of 75 ohm coaxial designs, twisted pairs, Ethernet pairs or discreet single wire video design meetin

Jackets: Winchester’s high impact resistant copolymer cable jackets are highly abrasion and chemical resistant. We also offer Hytrel and Nylon grades as alternate materials to our standard Polypropylene Copolymer.

Crawler Video Cables

Video Components: 75 ohm coax of CCTV, SDTV, HDTV ranging from mini 30 AWG to 22 AWG center conductors. Ethernet and VDSL twisted pair designs as well as fiber optic elements are available for extremely long lengths up to 3 km.

Strength Members: Light weight flexible synthetic aramid fiber yarns of Kevlar™ or Vectran™ in torque-balanced braid or dual served constructions with breaking strength ratings from 800 lbs. to 20,000 lbs.

Jackets: Winchester’s Xtreme-Grade Polyurethane is a tried and proven material for added flexibility, high abrasion and chemical resistance, low temperature flexibility and superior bonding properties for over molding. We also offer Hytrel, Nylon, Polyethylene and Teflon for high temperature downhole applications.
