Winchester Interconnect Acquires Source Technology
Norwalk, CT – September 12, 2014 – Winchester Interconnect Corporation (“Winchester”), a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, announced it has completed the acquisition of Source Technology (“Source”). Headquartered in Houston, Texas, Source is a leading supplier of over-molded cable assemblies, pressure transducers, and other interconnect components for the Oil and Gas industry. The acquisition of Source expands Winchester’s interconnect capabilities and its presence in the Oil and Gas market.
Winchester, based in Norwalk, Connecticut, is a designer and manufacturer of connectivity solutions, including both connectors and cable assemblies, for diversified end markets including medical, military, energy & power, broadcast, and ruggedized industrial. Winchester is a global business with operations in the U.S., Mexico, China, and Malaysia.

Source Technology marks the tenth add-on acquisition for Winchester since Audax Private Equity acquired Winchester in June 2006. The acquisitions have included Advanced Interconnect, Inc. of Franklin, Massachusetts in April of 2007; Kings Electronics Corporation, Inc. of Rock Hill, South Carolina in May of 2007; Electrical Specialty Products, Inc. of Spartanburg, South Carolina in July of 2012; Clements National Company of Broadview, Illinois in August of 2012; Continental Connector Company of Hatfield, Pennsylvania in May of 2013; Bomar Interconnect Products of Ledgewood, New Jersey in August of 2013; SRC Cables, Inc. of Santa Rosa, California in October of 2013; Haverhill Cable and Manufacturing Corporation of Haverhill, Massachusetts in November of 2013; and TRU Corporation of Peabody, Massachusetts in April of 2014.
