Winchester Interconnect specializes in cable assembly overmolding, using the most durable raw materials to withstand harsh environmental conditions, abrasion, and sterilization procedures. Winchester primarily utilizes thermoplastic materials to produce custom cable assembly solutions.
We have the capability to mold elastomeric rubbers such as neoprene, EPDM, silicone, nitrile, and viton / FKM as well as thermosets such as GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy), Glass filled PU, and Glass filled nylon.
Winchester provides 3D printed molding for fast and low cost prototyping. Our 3D printed mold cavities enable better fit and function and allows for easier design changes.
Our molds are made from hardened, tooled steel for volume production, providing more options for niche applications. Winchester uses aluminum molds for small runs and prototypes to keep costs down and shorten lead times.
